Finding a photographer in Sosua or Puerto Plata can be hard sometimes, so as this travel guide`s nature is to bring solutions to new and old needs of Sosua visitors, we`re posting here a list of photographers with contact information. There are a few stores in El Batey where locals and tourists can make use of digital photo services, take studio and document photos and purchase items such as cameras, film, digital memory cards, postcards, and other electronic items related to photography.
In the heart of Sosua there`s Jose Moya Foto Imagen Digital, at Pedro Clisante street almost across the Jolly Rogers bar. The store has a large selection of digital cameras, storage media and other interesting items such as music players, sunglasses, music CD`s, watches, and all sorts of connectors for smart phones.
They`re pretty handy when it comes to printing, saving photos in CD or taking photos in their on site studio. Their product offering has grown 200% over the past few years, and it now offers electronics and adapters hardly found elsewhere else in Sosua.

Those who shoot their own photos should visit Foto Imagen Digital, which has a great location in the main boulevard of Sosua, and is very handy when in need of power adapters, cameras, ipod and mp3 supplies and other useful items. An interesting add on is the mobile phone minutes ATM they recently added, which uses local DR currency to dispense calling card minutes from all cellphone providers such as Orange, Claro or Viva.
